Volcom Wild in the Parks Championships!
NJ SKATESHOP riders Dillion constantine, Nico magales and William Marshall will be attending, Wish them luck!
The championships of Volcom's epic 2008 Wild in the Parks will go down in Peoria, Arizona at the Rio Vista Skatepark. The event takes place on Saturday, October 18th (with a possible rain date set for October 19th) and will be broadcast live at Volcom.com. Volcom has put $30,000 in prizes up for grabs and the competition should be tough. Come on out and enjoy some free grub and watch some solid skating.

Remember what NJ Skateshop in Sayreville looked like? Well, on Father's Day, June 15th, 2008, we shut down the store. And completely emptied the entire store out... To get ready for the NJ Emerica Liberation and this Fridays Wild Ride Demo & Signing! Signing is at 4pm at NJ Skateshop, Sayreville. Demo is at 6pm at Sayreville Skatepark.
So what exactly is the NJ Liberation? Well almost 5 years ago, when NJ first opened, the Emerica team was the first team to come and do a demo for us at the Sayreville Park. We were such a small shop then with hardly any product and that demo really helped put us on the map as one of the shops that were down to get demos happening again in Jersey. Since then we've had hundreds of demos but Emerica was our first and the closest to our heart. As a result of our long relationship with Emerica they not only are coming through once again for a demo but they are redoing our entire store from top to bottom. And when we reopen on Friday, NJ will be transformed into a total and complete Emerica store for a few days. We'll still have all your decks and wheels and hardgood needs as well as have our NJ tees for sale but everything else in the store will be Emerica and Altamont. As a show of thanks to you, our friends and loyal customers for 5 years, every shoe, t-shirt, sweatshirt, whatever, will be at a discounted rate. And on Friday we will release 12 pairs of LIMITED black/blue Andrew Reynolds Lights. We are the only shop on earth to have the AR Lights a month before anyone else.
It's all very exciting times for us at NJ right now with all this happening, with our buddy and team rider Ken Fernando doing well in Saturday's Es Game of Skate and with us signing a lease for our 3rd store in North Jersey. We felt this was a great time to introduce our new NJ website blog and let you know from now on, we will be updating this on the regular with news and new product and photos etc.
